A Mountain Chalet is a small independent, family run business based in La Rosiere, France. We specialise in friendly, home from home, catered chalet holidays with a "nothing is too much trouble" attitude that makes our guests feel welcome, at ease and well looked after.

Chalet Chef
As chalet chef you will be expected to cook delicious food for your guests during their holiday, socialise with them, making them feel at home and ensure they have everything they need to enjoy their week.
Responsibilities include:
You will be catering for groups up to 14 guests, providing a full breakfast, afternoon tea and wholesome three course evening meal six days a week. You will be responsible for creating a warm, friendly and 'home from home' atmosphere in the chalet. You will have to work to a budget, do weekly menu planning, shopping and weekly chalet admin and accounts. You must ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy.
Skill and Experience:
Ability to cook to a good dinner party standard (relevant catering experience or qualification preferred) A passion for cooking, entertaining and meeting new people Friendly and sociable with excellent communication and customer service skills Organised, reliable and flexible Good time keeping
Chalet Chef/Host
As chalet chef/host you will be looking after a chalet for up to eight guests. You are expected to cook delicious food during their holiday, keep the chalet clean and tidy, socialise with them, making them feel at home and relaxed and ensure they have everything they need to enjoy their week.
