Chalet Runca is extremely spacious and sleeps up to 12 people in over 400sqm of accommodation. It has been decorated to the highest standard by a leading interior designer, whom designed the gastro carriage on the Arosa Express in the same way.  It features in the film, Champions, hitting Swiss cinemas this winter, which tells the story of the previous owner of Chalet Runca, Guido Lindemann, who became Switzerlands ice hockey legend in the 1980's.

Features include a boot-room with heated drying racks, a spa with sauna and steam room, and a private garden with snow bar and comfortable seating.  Here you are served canapés one night per week under the stars and around an open fire. You will hear the train whistle, the church bells ring, and horse and sleigh bells passing by, and the children can enjoy our igloo and snow slide and may well create their own snowman or snow sculpture.

The chalet's most striking feature is its beautiful spacious high ceiling living room with an open log fire and access onto a large sunny balcony. The chalet is perfect for large groups or families, providing enough space and facilities to keep everyone entertained. The bedrooms are all well proportioned, making them suitable for adult sharers as well as for couples. Each is decorated in their own individual style, with solid beds and art resembling its original use as an elegant home.

Guests will be looked after by a team of four staff, including the owners, who are there to provide a genuinely bespoke service. Breakfast, tea and dinner are prepared daily by chalet’s professionally trained chef.  House wines are carefully selected to satisfy even the most discerning palate and guests may also pick out a special bottle from the chalet’s wine list to enjoy a la carte.
