“Liberty Ride”: break free
Succumb to the call of powder snow in complete safety, thanks to “Liberty Ride’’ zones; ungroomed and unprepared runs where you can take a ride in the pure white stuff. Whether an off-piste beginner or experienced skier, this is a safe area where everyone can make their very first tracks in untouched snow! 3 zones across the ski area: La Masse and Les Pylônes (200 metres of vertical drop), and La Riondaz on the Tougnète mountainside (300 metres of vertical drop). A must for powder hounds!

Every Tuesday during the school holidays, skiers of all ages can finally live their dream of being alone on the slopes and bag a descent over a vertical drop of 1,000 metres. Depending on your mood, you can take your time and admire the panoramic views, or head downhill, carving your first tracks into the freshly groomed snow. Meet at the bottom of La Masse at 8am. Bonus: free breakfast at 2,800 metres and a panoramic view of the peaks.

Hailing from Les Menuires, crazy duo Victor Galuchot and Fabien Maierhofer scour the best spots in Europe to find legendary freeski locations in which to make their films.

Contrary to popular belief, Les Menuires isn’t just for top-level skiers.
